1. Tempo Lanzarote Jameos del Agua 2016.

Tempo Lanzarote returns this Sunday November 27. The successful visual, musical and stage show premiered on the occasion of the reopening of Jameos Auditorium. New singers and dancers and new musical compositions to provide new benefits to a performance that captivated hundreds of people who enjoyed it in his first season.

2. Pasión por Cano in Lanzarote

Pasión Vega presents her concert Passion for Cano on November 25, at 8:30 pm, in the Auditorio de Jameos del Agua.

A work that is already a gold record, where the singer from Malaga performs an emotional and homage to the missing Carlos Cano through twelve emblematic songs of his repertoire, plus an unpublished theme entitled "Soy del Sur" and composed by the author Martínez Ares. A production highly cared for and of great quality that is in charge of the composer Fernando Velazquez.

3. "Noche de Reyes sin Shakespeare" by Adolfo Marsillach

"Noche de Reyes sin Shakespeare”, theater play by Adolfo Marsillach, is presented this Friday 25 and Saturday 26 at the Municipal Theater of Tias at 9:00 pm. 

The actor Julián Ortega gets into the skin of about thirty characters in a work that addresses important aspects of human reality, but one stands out above all: the inevitable decline that the course of two years usually leads man to the abyss of The loneliness, the abandonment, the feeling of uselessness and, ultimately, the most tragic destiny.

Tickets are priced at € 10. 

4. Una Sola Voz. San Bartolome Municipal Theater

"Una sola voz" (A Single Voice) is presented at the San Bartolome Municipal Theater on 25 and 26 November at 8:30 pm. Tickets are priced at € 10 for each show (advance sale). On Friday, November 25, "Para ser mujer eres bastante graciosa" (You're quite funny for a woman), with the actress Virginia Riezu, while on Saturday will be Julian Ortega who will give life to "La Tigresa y otras historias" (The Tigress and other stories).

5. VI Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote

The 6th Lanzarote Film Festival is underway from Thursday, November 24th and will continue until December 3th. There will be screenings in different rooms in Lanzarote such as the Atlántida multi-cinema and the Workshop at the Pancho Lasso School of Art, While the meetings will be at the International Museum of Contemporary Art MIAC-Castillo de San José. And the closing will be done at the Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé.

6. Festival Enogastronómico Saborea Lanzarote - Teguise

The Gastronomic Festival of Lanzarote is celebrated this Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 of November in the Villa of Teguise.

In this gastronomic festival the local product is the star and everyone can enjoy proposals of gastronomy from Lanzarote. There will be an extensive program in the event where producers and artisans show their products and cooking habilities, through different food industries of the island, to restaurateurs and catering companies, dedicated to satisfy the most demanding palates.

Besides the municipal tent, where thousands will visit in the gastronomic market, there is a more technical zone called "Aula del gusto" where talks and demonstrations are given with showcooking by the most outstanding professionals.

The children will also have activities planned for them, there are film thematic days with gastronomy tastings, tastings, shows and much more.

7. Fiestas en Honor a San Francisco Javier Yé 2016

The Fiestas in Honor of San Francisco Javier 2016 end this weekend in Yé. Here you can see the activities for the closure of this celebration:

Friday, November 25
Exhibition of the photos of the Flamenco Tablado.
6:00 pm. Draw and start of the "Women's Cinquillo Championship"
9:30 pm. Miss and Mister in charge of the youth of the town.

Saturday, November 26
10:00 am Craft workshop for children "Gardeners for a day".
12:00 pm. Race in heels with Foam and Colors party. Accompanied by the music of DJ Furre. Essential for the test 4cm heels and wig (cash prizes with value up to €100).

8. Concert: Raíces "De ida y vuelta"

Parranda Raíces presents on El Reducto Beach their work "De ida y vuelta" on Saturday November 26 at 9:00 p.m.

The concert, which is free, will feature the performance of soloists Ciro Corujo and Pedro Pérez.

9. Charity Race "III Islote Family Trail 2016"

On Saturday, November 26, the "III Islote Family Trail 2016" Charity Race will be held, starting at 4:30 pm. The race for families has a 7-kilometer course that can be done walking, running or mountain biking. The meeting point is in the Teleclub El Islote. The modalities to participate in the carrerra are: Trail of adults, Hiking in family, MTB and MTB in family.

To participate only donate non-perishable food or personal hygiene and home products that will go to different NGOs in Lanzarote.

10. IV Race against Gender Violence 2016

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women -November 25, the Center for Equality and Care for Women (CIAM) of the Social Welfare Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Department of Social Services and Immigration of the City of Arrecife organize the IV Solidarity Race against Gender Violence 2016, to be held on Saturday, November 26 at the Islas Canarias Park in Arrecife (next to Gran Hotel Arrecife).

La race will have a route of approximately 2.5km with beginning and end at the Islas Canarias Park.

There will also be an Obstacle Course for children between 3 and 6 years old at 10:30 am (Parque Islas Canarias), as well as a prer-race zumba dance at 11:30 am by ZUMBA LOVE.

Registration is free and it can be done the same day of the race from 9:30 to 11:00 am.

11. Pica Pica Children's Show: "English Pitinglish"

On November 26, the Tent of the Fairground of Arrecife receives Pica Pica with the children's show: "English Pitinglish", at 5:30 pm. The price of tickets is €15 in advance and €18 at the box office.

In this new adventure Nacho Bombín, Belén Pelo de Oro and Emi Bombón will attend a bilingual school called "English Pitinglish", where they will learn singing in English and Spanish.

12. Family Theater: "The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn"

On Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 6:00 pm, "The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn" will be presented at El Salinero Theater. Based on Mark Twain's immortal classic, Ultramarinos de Lucas Company presents a fun and bright version of The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn. Tickets are priced at € 8.

13. Activities for children in Lanzarote

Children's activities: "Jardinero por un día" (Gardener for a day). Deiland

Within its Children's Activities program for the month of November, the Deiland Shopping Center offers the "Gardener for a Day" workshop for children, from 11:30 am. to 1:30 pm this Sunday, November 27. 

Discover the house of Santa Claus. Biosfera Plaza.

Santa Claus opens the doors of his little house on the third floor of the Biosfera Plaza Shopping Center, on November 24 and 25 and December 3, 10 and 17 at 6:30 pm. This activity will also be one day before Christmas, on December 24th at 11:30 am.

Érase una vez (Once upon a time). Storytelling workshops and reading animation

"Erase una vez" (Once upon a time) is a celebration of a series of Storytelling workshops and reading animation for kids between 6 and 10 years old. These completely free workshops take place every Friday at Tías Library from 5:00 pm o 6:00 pm, and at Puerto del Carmen Library from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

14. X Festival Montaña de Gaida

The X Folk Festival "Montaña de Gaida" is celebrated this Saturday November 26 at 9:00 pm in the Socio Cultural Center of Mácher, with the participation of folk groups like: A.F. Imoque (Tenerife) and A.F. GAIDA from Tías. The entrance is free.

15. Caletón Blanco Beach Cleaning + Paella*

 

On Saturday November 26 the Reserva de la Biosfera (Biosphere Reserve) organizes a day with volunteers to clean the Caletón Blanco Beach in the Haría at 11:00 am. Before starting, there will be a talk about the plastic problem and at the end the attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious paella. Consistent with the "Plastic Zero" campaign of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, all volunteers are asked to bring covered utensils, glasses and plates to avoid the use of plastic dishes, reducing with this small action the generation of waste.

The meeting point is planned in the parking lot of the Caletón Blanco at 11:00 am.

16. Lanzarote Digital Planetarium: Mar y Estrellas (Sea and stars)

Under the title "Sea and Stars", on November 25 there will be a meeting for lovers of the stars in the planetarium room of the Canarian Maritime Fishing Institute. This activity is recommended for those over 9 years of age.

Attendees will learn the basics of Star Guidance and Astronomical Navigation, and how sailors used to cross the oceans over the last few centuries.
