1. Carnival in Haría 2017 "Bollywood"

Haría celebrates the Carnival from March 16 to 19, under the theme "Bollywood". Have a look at the program here:

Thursday, March 16:

5:00 pm.  Carnival Party for Seniors at SocioCultural Center La Tegala.

8:30 pm. Inaugural Gala of Bollywood Carnival with the performance of "Bailes Latinos el Norte Dance" and different groups of the Carnival.

 

Friday, March 17:

10.00 am.  Parade with the performance of the students of CEIP San Juan and IES Haría.

9:00 pm.  Murgas meeting with the performances of Los Tabletuos, Desahuciados, Titi Roys and Vacilonas at Plaza de Haría.

11:00 pm.  Carnial Verbena dwith D´js Furre and Jonih, and Bomba group.

 

Saturday, March 18:

11:00 am.  Children's Workship to make "atrezos de Carnaval".

12:30 pm.  Children's Parade with Patrulla Canina, drag queens, drag 2015 from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and batucada.

7:00 pm.  Coso of the Carnival with parade of floats, murgas, comparsas, batucadas and a great number of mascaritas from the parkings of the cemetery to Plaza de Haría.

9:00 pm.  Verbena of Carnival enlivened by the orchestra Kodigo 10 at Haría square.

From 11:00 pm to 02:00 am.  D´j Javi Torres, Percusion Live with dancers and drags show at Haría square.

From 2:00 to 04:00 am.  Verbena of Carnival enlivened by the orchestra Kodigo 10 at Haría square.

 

Sunday, March 19:

"Carnaval de la Tapa".

1:30 pm. erbena of Carnival enlivened by the orchestra Kodigo 10 and group Bomba.

5:30 pm.  "Carnaval del Llanto" (Weeping Carnival). Burial of the sardine accompanied by the batucada Womanbatuca.

6:30 pm.  Carnival of laughter. Humorous show by Kike Pérez & Aron Gómez.

 

2. St. Patrick's Festival 2017. Puerto del Carmen.

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in Puerto del Carmen this week with live music, food, fun, treasure hunts and more. March 17 will be the great celebration from 12:00 to 11:00 pm, at the Plaza del Varadero in Puerto del Carmen. Free entrance.

 

 

3. Aqua Circus Arrecife 2017 Circo Alegría

 

Circo Alegría returns to Arrecife with "Aqua Circus", that will be presented in the Great Tent of the Fairgrounds March 17 to April 2, 2017.

The spectators will find a swimming pool, with 24.000 liters of water, turned into circus track. Here, more than 40 artists will work doing their numbers with great risk and complication in order to surprise the visitors.

 

4. Theater: "Corredera: Profetas de Mueble Bar"

 

"Corredera: Profetas de Mueble Bar" by Miguel Ángel Martínez, with the music of Tres Tres Timples of Los Gofiones and direction of Los Profetas (Fernando Navas, Carmelo Alcántara and Juan Ramón Pérez), arrives on Saturday, March 18, at the El Salinero Theater At 9:00 pm. Tickets are priced at € 10.

 

5. "Ya Era Hora Teatro" presents... "¿De parto de quién?" (For Charity).

Ya Era Hora Teatro presents... "¿De parto de quién?" (for Charity), this saturday at 8:30 pm at the Municipal Theater of Tías. Tickets are priced 5€.

 

6. "Contado Pierde" Aarón Gómez and Kike Pérez

Kike Pérez and Aarón Gómez arrive in Teguise with their humor show "Contado Pierde", on Saturday, March 18, at the Convento de Santo Domingo, starting at 8:30 pm. The hilarious ability to narrate everyday stories, which seem to be our own, has made this duo unstoppable when it comes to plotting humor with reality and Canarian idiosyncrasy.

 

7. Special: Father's Day Activities

"Photomaton" Father's Day. Biosfera Plaza

 

Do you have your Father's Day gift? Tell him how much you love him, create your own portrait and take a photo with the "photomaton" of the Biosfera Plaza Shopping Center, this Saturday 18 of March at 6:30 pm.

 

Father's Day: Make a Custom Mug. Deiland

Deiland Shopping Center offers a workshop to celebrate Father's Day and "Make a personalized mug" on Sunday, March 19 at 11:30 am. Registration at 629 818 455.

 

Father's Day 2017. Marina Lanzarote

On Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 am, celebrate Father's Day at Marina Lanzarote, with the workshop "Create your cup for the best dad in the world".

On a special day like Father's Day, Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park gives tickets to all of the parents to enjoy with their children in the park. You only have to present the family book together with your ID in the entrance to benefit from this promotion.

Happy Father's Day! Rubicón Shopping Center

This Sunday, Rubicon Shopping Center invites you to enjoy "Father's Day" with leisure, shopping and fun with the whole family, a day to celebrate! From 11:00 am. to 1:00 pm. Create a spaceship with dad and win a trophy. From 5:30 to 7:30 pm there will be the Workshop "Design a cup for Dad".

8. Primavera Musical (Musical Spring) Yaiza 2017

Sunday 19 March will be the first of the three concerts presented by "Primavera Musical Yaiza 2017". The show will be at 8:00 pm at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas, in Yaiza.

 

9. Karate Children's Championship of the Canary Islands 2017

Arrecife will receive this Sunday the Karate Children's Championship of the Canary Islands 2017. It's the first time that the Canary Islands Federation of Karate organizes a regional championship in Lanzarote. The best karate of the Canary Islands will meet in the competition that is celebrated from 2:15 pm this Sunday, March 19 at "Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote".

10. Activity for Children: Ping-Pong. Deiland

This saturday there will be an activity for children: Ping Pong, at Deiland Shopping Center at 10:00 am. This activity is framed within the Island Games of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
