Welcome to this new month and it can’t start any better that on a weekend. And, as always, in HolaLanzarote we tell you about the best Things to Do This Weekend in Lanzarote. This Friday starts white… yes, white, with the White Night in Teguise, and Saturday and Sunday there will be activities for everybody, with sports, music, dance, parties and more.

1. Noche Blanca de Teguise
Teguise will celebrate a new edition of the "White Night" (Noche Blanca) tonight (Friday July 1st) at the amazing historic center of the town of Teguise. This artistic, cultural and social project began 6 years ago and it is a must to welcome the summer. The program includes activities foreveryone, such as playground, multiple performances, sculptures, exhibitions and a "Black Night" at the Castle of Santa Barbara, among other proposals.
The "White Night of Teguise" will begin at 5:00 pm until 4:00 am on Saturday. Those who wish to attend this great free and open to all cultural event, can do so with bus service enabled by the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The bus service will departures from the Bus Station from Arrecife to La Villa de Teguise at 7:00 pm, 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm on Friday, July 1st. Going back from Teguise to Arrecife will be at 00:00, 2:00 and at 04:00 hours on July 2nd.
2. Suite Canaria
Tonight, the Theatre Room at Atlantida Cinema, the play "Suite Canarias" will be presented at 9:00 pm. "Suite Canaria" is the ultimate challenge of majorero (Fuerteventura local) timplista Domingo Rodriguez "The Colorao".
The musical show will be played by Domingo Rodriguez "The Colorao" (timple) and Bela Bartok Orchestra, directed by José Brito, and provide compositions created by Blas Sanchez, Domingo Rodriguez himself, and Marco Lefty.
Tickets for the show timple and orchestra are priced from 15 euros.
3. III Summer Challenge Crossfit Lanzarote
About a hundred athletes have confirmed their presence at the Lanzarote III Summer Challenge held on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd.
This Crossfit event will take place on El Reducto beach in Arrecife, starting the competition on Saturday morning from 9:00 am and runs until noon on Sunday. Competitors are unaware of the tests that will face, until Friday night when the organizers will present the program of activities of the III Summer Challenge Lanzarote.
4. "Young July" in Bartolome 2016
With a program full of different activities, the City of San Bartolomé has organized "Young July San Bartolome 2016" (Julio Joven), a month dedicated to people from 12 to 35 years old. "Julio Joven will begin Friday with: mechanical bull, Roadbook and Batucada in the forecourt of Playa Honda from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. While Saturday there will be: Tournament Billiard at Cafetería Bar Avenida in San Bartolome throughout the day, youth Dinamización. To finish the weekend, Sunday there will be a Frisbee activity on the Guacimeta beach of Playa Honda from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
5. I Football Campus to benefit Afol
The I Base Football Campus to Benefit Afol "Against Cancer, a game that wins" will be held from June 30 to July 2 at the Ciudad Deportiva de Lanzarote.
As guests are David Vidal (football coach), Alejandro Hernandez (first division referee), Macio Dévora (former player U.D. Lanzarote), Pro Player from the Canary Islands, Francis Santana Mendez (psychologist).
The categories will be: Benjamin (2006/2007), Alevín (2004/2005), Children (2002/2003): played. The price is 20 € and includes shirt and diploma.
6. Fiestas de San Pedro en Mácher
Macher celebrates the San Pedro festivities and has a varied program for this weekend.
Friday, July 1
5:00 pm. inflatables
8:30 pm. Chago Melian Concert in the Hall of Socio-Cultural Center.
Saturday, July 2
9:00 pm. Popular Barbecue and then, popular verbena (town party) enlivened by Parrandas "El Campillo" from Fuerteventura, "The Golpito" and "Pa'l Porrón".
Sunday, July 3
10:00 am. VII Route "Honda 70" Fiestas San Pedro, Concentration and start from the Socio-Cultural Center, at the end there will be an exhibition of motorcycles participating.
1:00 pm. Foam Party in the Socio-Cultural Center.
8:00 pm. Folkloric Encounter with the performance of "Guágaro" and "Pavón".
7. Fiestas de San Marcial de Rubicón, Femés 2016
Femés celebrates the Festival of San Marcial de Rubicon, starting this Friday at 8:00 pm with the opening speech by brothers Domingo and Antonio Corujo Tejera, starring Tonin Corujo Quartet at the Church of San Marcial de Rubicon.
On Saturday there will be a children's gardening workshop at 11:00 am, while at 5:00 pm it will beging the race Transajaches 2016. This sporting challenge "Transajaches", which takes place on asphalt and mountains, it will be in the incredible Natural Monument Los Ajaches. There will be two categories: 14 and 20 kilometers.
On Sunday there will be several activities from 10:00 am, such as: Skeet Shooting in the field of La Degollada, Children's workshop "Chef for a Day", cheese and wine tasting in Yaiza with the performance of the musical group "El Pavón", Mass and performance of "Mariachi El Rosario" from Fuerteventura.
8. It’s Showtime! BON VOYAGE
It's Showtime! BON VOYAGE will be presented on Saturday at the Municipal Theater of Tías, at 8:00 pm. The show will be under the artistic direction and choreography by: Beatrice Senent and Celia Pérez professional dancers: Tania Marcer, Hector Rodriguez, Celia Perez and Sayo Martí. It also will feature guest artist, the singer "Peggy". Tickets are priced at 10 € for adults and 5 € for children under 12 years.
