1. Exhibition in tributo to Gabriel García Márquez. Arrecife.
Tonight, the “Youth House” (Casa de la Juventud) en Arrecife opens its doors to Gabriel García Márquez from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Today is the opening of the exhibition tribute to the Nobel Prize for Literature winner. Hernando Vergara Amaya, illustrator of the books of the Colombian author, will give a videoconference from the School of Fine Arts in Bogotá. This activity happens two years after the disappearance of the Colombian journalist and writer, displaying images that have shown great literary works like "Chronicle of a Death Foretold". The exhibition will remain open until April 30.
2. Humor: Aarón Gómez and Kike Pérez “Lo que no está escrito”.
The humorous duo Aaron and Kike Pérez Gómez are back in Lanzarote with their show “Lo que no está escrito” (What is not written) tonight at 8:30 pm in the House of Culture Benito Pérez Armas in Yaiza. Admission is free.
3. XXIII Theather Days Encarnación Rodríguez, in Haría
The cultural center La Tegala of Haria host in April the Theatre Days XXIII Incarnation Rodriguez, with the following schedule:
12:00 pm: Acelera Producciones. Play: “La leyenda de Canarias” (The Legend of the Canary Islands).
Ismael is a restless child attending the grand opening of Canaryland, the first theme park inspired in the Canary Aboriginal world.
Carrying under his arms a book reading events of the past of the islands, and he doesn’t really like this park because he thinks it doesn’t capture what really happened and how they lived.

4. III Solidarity Marathon “Run, walk and integrate” (Correr, caminar e integrar).
Saturday 16 April the III solidarity Marathon “Correr, caminar e integrar” (Run, walk and integrate) is held. The start will be at 10:30 am, leaving from the Grand Hotel. Registration is priced at 5 euros and can be done the same day at 8:30 am. There will be three categories: 10, 5 and 2.5 kilometers.
5. La Movida Música Danza y Poesía “Einolo”
On Friday 15 and Saturday 16 April returns La Movida (The movement), with Music, Dance and Poetry, to the Cultural Space of La Recova, with the show "Einolo" at 9:00 pm each day. It shows a path from the individual to the collective in human relations. This show has inverted box office, the price of the tickets is up to you when you leave.
6.Panorama. Bienalarte Lanzarote
On Saturday April 16 at 7:30 pm it will be the exhibition Panorama in the Solar opposite the Parque José Ramírez Cerdá in Arrecife.
As a temporary exhibition and lasting about 3 hours, participants will display objects, images or own references around its landscape view and about the space they inhabit, forming the cultural construction of that place.
7.Los Campesinos. Sorondongo.
The musical show from “Los Campesinos” dedicated to Pedro Luzardo with the collaboration of the Municipal Choir of San Bartolome and guest soloists will be this Saturday, april 16, at 9:00 pm in the Municipal Theatre of San Bartolome.
8.XVI Festival Internacional de Cine de Lanzarote
The XVI International Film Festival Lanzarote 2016 is almost finished. Tonight it will be presented with the "Primavera Rosa” in the Kremlin is a long-term project of Mario de la Torre; a map that indicates all cities in the world where the LGBTI community “is still in danger".
