1. Fiestas de San Juan 2016 Haría
celebrates its festivities in honor of San Juan and there are children's activities, festivals, tournaments and of course the traditional pilgrimage. Have a look at the program for the next three days.
June 17
10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Playdul morning with schools in the municipality. Location: Plaza de Haria.
9:00 pm. XII Festival Malpais de La Corona.
The Folkloric Association Malpais de la Corona, celebrates the thirteenth edition of the festival. A unique space transmission of traditional values of the northern, Lanzarote and Canary culture. Groups invited this year are:
A.F.C. Guayadeque Gran Canaria and A.F.C. Songs and Dances of Arrecife.

This pharmacist who practiced her profession and research in Haria, distinguished by the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Spain, besides having the Carraido Medal, receives a tribute and a posthumous recognition by the people who shared with her.

2. Fiestas San Juan Soo 2016
Soo also celebrates the festival in honor of San Juan and this weekend there is a lot of activity.

3. Fiestas de San Luis Gonzaga. Las Breñas 2016
In Las Breñas, the party is in honor of San Luis Gonzaga. No doubt you will have many events of this program to enjoy.
June 17
5:00 pm. Drawing contest and children's piñata at the Cultural Center.
9:30 pm. V Folkloric meeting Victor Fernandez Gopar - 30th Anniversary of the PARRANDA JANUBIO.

4. Fiesta del Mar 2016 Costa Teguise
This Saturday there's going to be a party in Playa de las Cucharas, with a playful open day where you practice different, totally free, water sports.
The "Fiesta del Mar" is in the Playa de las Cucharas in Costa Teguise from 11:00 am.
From 11:00 am until 5:00 pm there will be: Fitness Zumba, Beach Volley, Regata Rookie Cup. introduction to SUP, catamaran sailing, diving, windsurfing, skimboard, Hawaiian canoe. Skate ramp, music, Dj Angel Perez and lots of fun for everyone.
And at 8:00 pm Barbecue and Big Party in "Poco Loco".
5. VIII Lanzarote Wine Run & Traditional Cuisine Festival 2016
Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 celebrates the "VIII Lanzarote Wine Run & Traditional Cuisine Festival", one of the most characteristic events in the area of La Geria in Lanzarote. Here's the program:
Saturday June 18
3:00-4:30 pm: Opening the collection of numbers of Wine II Kids Run 2016, Uga Square.
5:00 pm: Opening the collection of numbers from the 'VIII Lanzarote Wine Run', Uga Square.
5:30 pm: Start of the II Wine Run Kids 2016, Uga Square.
6:00 pm: Opening of the "Traditional Cuisine Festival", Uga Square.
7:00 pm: Concerts "By The Face", Uga Square.
9:30 pm: End of the number collection for the ‘VIII Lanzarote Wine Run’.
11:00 pm: Closing of the "Traditional Cuisine Festival"and all the activities.
Sunday June 19
07.30-08.15 am: Departure of the buses from Uga to the winery La Florida (participants only long run).
08.15-09.15 am: Departure of the buses from Uga to Testeina (short and walk race).
09:00 am: Start of the long race of the winery La Florida.
10:00 am: Welcome to the first runners.
10:15 am: Start of the short run and walk from Testeina.
10:30 am: Opening of 'Traditional Cuisine Festival', in the Plaza de Uga.
12.30 pm: Awards ceremony, Uga square.
13:30 pm: Concert "Última Llave".
16:00 pm: Closing ceremony.

6. Music: ARÍSTIDES MORENO. Chinijo's Rock
Following the success of the first concert Chinijo's Rock, Culture Lanzarote takes up this initiative that aims to bring popular music to the kids and that this time will feature an exceptional protagonist: Aristides Moreno. The author of "Horcon Boys" or the "Corsario de la Biosfera” interpret these and many other of his hits in a concert specially adapted for children from 4 years old on Saturday 18 in the Recove in Arrecife to 6:00 pm. Tickets are priced at 1 euro.
7. Mini Chef Workshop. Marina Lanzarote
On Saturday June 18th you can not miss the workshop "MINI CHEF" dedicated to children from 5 years.
The activity will be in the Plaza de las Cruces Marina Lanzarote at 7:00 pm.
8. Have fun with the Circus. Biosfera Plaza.
"Diviertete con el circo" (have fun with the circus) is a show composed of various artistic performances, transporting children into a magical world full of color and fun. The program consists of:
- Contortionist; hulahoops; hoola hops led, human worm, juggling plates.
- Mini Dolls dancers and Michael Jackson.
- Facepainting
- Marshmallow Factory

9. Treasure Hunt Workshop
Among the children's activities that Deiland Mall offers on weekends, this Saturday June 18 there's a Treasure Hunt Workshop for the kids from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

10. Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote Concert. Clarinet Quartet and Percussion, Casa Ajei
Within the programming of the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote and its presentation in Ajei House, on Saturday June 18 at 8:30 pm presents the Clarinet Quartet and Percussion. Clarinet Quartet consists of four teachers who presently combine performing and teaching. A new and bold programme for five musicians which will take us from a composer such as Tchaikovsky with the Nutcracker through to Piazzolla with his tangos.
11. Dinner - White Night. Fiestas de San Pedro. Sociedad Democracia Arrecife
On Saturday June 18 at 9:00 pm will be the Fiestas de San Pedro, with the celebration of the White Night and Dinner in the Arrecife Democracy Society. Performance at the Divo Duo Zafiro, piano bar.
12. Concert Kcor & Rock. Coral Polifónica San Ginés
San Ginés Polyphonic Choir will take the stage on June 18 at 9:00 pm at the Cine Teatro Atlantida in Arrecife, to interpret recognizable rock songs of all time, as "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi, "California Dreaming "by The Mamas and The Papas or" Bohemian Rhapsody "by Queen among others.
The ticket price is € 10 and are on sale at the Society Democracy Arrecife (Av. Dr. Rafael Gonzalez, 19), BP Valterra in The Box Wellness and at the Cine Atlantida box office.
13. Concert Nia Verona
On Saturday June 18 at the Arrecife Gran Hotel & SPA in Lanzarote, at 10:00 pm, will be the presentation of the new album "Stronger" (available soon on digital platforms) & covers of big hits (Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Adele, Stevie Wonder ...).
14. Indiera Theatre PIC NIC
Indiera Theatre staged "PIC NIC" on the battlefield, a play by Fernando Arrabal written in 1947, which tells, in an absurd way, how a married couple decides to go to war to visit their son, a soldier and suggest a picnic in the battlefront. They play is represented "to show the absurdity of the silent war". It is adapted and directed by Baltasar de Leon Sosa and presented on Saturday in Tías Municipal Theatre at 10:30 pm. Tickets are priced at 5 euros.
15. III Family Solidarity Meeting
On Saturday June 18 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, you can enjoy one day and support the Socio-educational association "Crecer y crear" (to grow and create), that has a program with different activities: storytellers, face painting workshop, Japanese theater, crafts, drawings, family poetry, meeting Indanza, live music, free buffet ... and more.
The price per adult is 10 € and the price per child is 3 € (up to 3 years free).
