Music, children's activities, circus, sports, dance ... This weekend is full of great events and there's a little for everybody. As always, in HolaLanzarote we tell you about the best Things to do this Weekend in Lanzarote and this time there are over 10 options to enjoy your Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the volcanic island.
1. Musical: Bolerock and Roll
The musical "Bolerock and Rol" is presented this Friday at 8:30 pm at the Theater Multicines Atlantida. "Bolerock and Roll" is a musical that takes us through the bolero most famous songs, but interpreted as Rock and Roll and with hints of humor.
Yanely Hernández (En Clave de Ja), Cristina Ramos (winner of the last edition of the TV show "Got Talent") and Patricia Muñoz (prestigious Canarian singer), are part of the cast that together with Mingo Ruano invite you to live this party of rock and bolero.
Tickets are 15 euros and you can get them online or at the theater box office.
2. Astronomical and Observation Night From Guanapay Castle
Tonight at 7:00 pm you can enjoy an Astronomical and Observation Night from The Castle Guanapay in Teguise.
There will be an explanation of the winter sky and observation with high-powered telescopes and a live projection of the crescent moon.
The entrance is priced at 7 euros and can be purchased at the Culture Center of Teguise.
3. Dance: "SINESTESIA". IronSkulls Co
"Synesthesia, the new show of the Barcelona company Iron Skulls Co., presents contemporary dance, urban dance and hip-hop, also combined with music, design, fashion, martial arts and acrobatics. You can enjoy "Sinestesia" at the Teatro El Salinero on Friday night at 9:00 pm. Tickets are priced at 12 €.
4. SPORTS
IV Circular Nocturna -Montañas de Máguez 2016
On Saturday November 5 is celebrated the Fourth Circular Máguez Night -Mountains of 2016. This event is part of the II Cup Mountain Races of Lanzarote.
Travesía a nado La Bocaina 2016
To continue the sporting events this weekend, on Sunday November 6 The Swim Crossing La Bocaina 2016 will be celebrated, from 7:30 am from Playa Dorada in Playa Blanca to Corralejo Beach in Fuerteventura. The competition was postponed one day for the weather and the sea conditions, it was previously scheduled for Saturday. More than 120 swimmers face the challenge of 15 kilometers.
MUSIC
5. Jazz: John Pizzarelli
Jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli will visit Lanzarote on Saturday to present his new album "Midnight McCartney" at the Teatro El Salinero at 9:00 pm.
Tickets to see John Pizzarelli cost 15 euros and can be purchased online or at the box office of the theater.
6. Silver Heads. Arrecife
"Silver Heads" takes the Rhithm and blues and Soul to La Recova in Arrecife. The concert is free and it will be this Saturday November 5 at 9:00 pm.
7. Concert: Esther Alfonso and Chamber Orchestra
Violinist, violist and soloist Esther Alfonso will give a concert on Saturday at Cueva de los Verdes, at 8:00 pm. The concert program of "Esther Alfonso and Chamber Orchestra" will address a first portion which will be classical, and a second that will be jazz, accompanied by a set that consists of violin, viola, cello, double bass and electric guitar.
8. The Circus Box
“La Caja del Circo” is a show composed of various artistic performances that will transport you to a magical world full of color and fun, contortionists, jugglers and more surprises.
The show will have two presentations this weekend in Lanzarote, on Friday, November 4 at 6:00 pm in the basement of Deiland Mall and on Saturday November 5 at 12:00 pm in the Plaza de las Cruces at Marina Lanzarote.
9. Surf and Bodyboard Championship
The beach of La Garita in Arrieta, will host next Sunday, November 6, the Surf and Bodyboard Championship, from 9:00 am. The surf and bodyboard championship is organized by the Municipality of Haria and Octopus, It will feature categories sub14, sub12 and sub10.
10. Youth Movie Afternoon
Yaiza City Council organizes Youth Film Afternoon at the Femés Cultural Center at 5:30 pm on Friday 4 November. Come and enjoy a fun film for over 12 years.
And if you want a little more of Halloween, there will be a "Fiesta de Halloween" this Saturday at AA.VV. La Aurora at 11:30 am. An inclusive celebration with animation Mago Jose Angel and gifts and surprises for all.
