 1. Help the animals

Fitness Zumba Masterclass –Sara Protectora

The activity will be led by Zumba Fitness Lanzarote, with Oliver Martin, Fernando Petit, Tatiana Merche and Lesley Thom, filling the Ciudad Deportiva de Lanzarote (Arrecife) with color and music. For an afternoon party dance and laughter you only have to buy the ticket for 5 euros and participated in a raffle with great prizes. It’s an event to collaborate with the shelter, and of course, the animals. Adoption Walk Huella a Huella in Playa Blanca   Paseo de la adopcion Playa Blanca Cartel Huella a Huella   The Adoption Walk is taking place this Sunday September 6 for the second time. “Huella a Huella” organization invites you to this activity to support their actions helping animals. The start of the walk will be at 19 hours from the parking of the port, in Punta Limones, Playa Blanca, and then walk around the promenade and enjoy a great moment of freedom and pampering with the furry friends. The dogs are looking for a family, so if you want to know them, go ahead and walk alongside ”Huella a Huella” and the 4-legged friends.

2. K10Xtreme Yaiza

The Xtreme Yaiza is back. It will be held this Saturday with two races of two distances, 5 and 10 kilometers. k10xtreme yaiza cartel hola lanzarote         In the K10xtreme Yaiza in Lanzarote will be participate individual runners and teams. Also, it will be at night, from 20:00 hours, which increase the difficulty and toughness of the race. The K10 Xtreme Yaiza will go through the mountains Lomo del Cura, La Cinta, La Molina and the esplanade of La Degollada; starting and finishing in the Plaza de La Alameda in Yaiza. 3. More Festivities

Fiestas de Punta mujeres

In Punta Mujeres the Fiestas del Pino continue. This Saturday, September 5th, there will be inflatables for children from 10:00 to 12: 00 hours. In the afternoon, at 18:30, it will be the pilgrimage and burning scenes. It will go on with the dance with rosemary choice of most “Romera”. Then, at 23:00, will be the Popular Verbena with “Suso y Familia” and “Nayimbe”. To finish the weekend in Punta Mujeres, on Sunday about 13:00 will be the Party PM. The Foam and Water Parties (Verbenas) will have tapas for 1 euro (oriented to Star Wars). At 17: 00h will be the Aquazumba and to close the weekend, at 21:00, Trentaytantos and Bourbon in concert. Fiestas de los remedios de Yaiza

Yaiza is celebrating the festivities in honor of “Virgen de Los Remedios”. This Friday, the programming Friday of the Fiestas de los Remedios Yaiza 2015 continues with the playground at the House of Culture Benito Pérez Armas at 18:00 hours. Followed by Rubicon Festival 2015 in the Plaza de Los Remedios at 21:00 h. Then continue with the festival with Mambo Swing and Güira Latina. On Saturday there will be children's party with airbeds and games room at Plaza de los Remedios in the morning. In the afternoon it will be the pilgrimage in honor of “Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios”, departing from the football field in Yaiza, Virgin Offering, Yaiza Maga choice of 2015, acting and dancing groups Romero at 17:30. At 18:00 hours will be the Mass and then the offering in favor of the needy. The program for this weekend includes K10 Xtreme Race Yaiza. And at night the Verbena with Mambo Swing and Guira Latina orchestras. Also, on Sunday there will be party for children with airbeds and water festival in the Plaza de Los Remedios. 4. Let’s go to the theater

Soy mujer… ¿Y qué? (I’m a woman… So what?)

I am a woman ... So what? It is presented on Saturday September 5th at the Teatro Hermanas Manuela y Esperanza Spinola -Teguise at 21:00 hours. In this work some women speak of universal history and highlighted the everyday women who complain that they weep, they ask, they claim, fall in love, they seek. “El rey de la sabana, el león” (The Savannah King, The Lion)

“The Savannah King, The Lion” is sold out, so we hope that you have in your hands to enjoy this musical. This play comes to the Theatre of San Bartolomé on Saturday 5 September at 18.30h and 21.00h. The musical, based on the movie Lion King, known for its great stage, live vocals and great costumes, is a 90 minutes show where the whole family will enjoy the famous musical themes of the film. 5. "¿Hacemos un trío? Algo más que cabaret…" (Do we make a threesome? More than cabaret ...)

Following with the theater, the play "Do we make a threesome? More than cabaret ..." is presented on Friday 4 September at 20:00 hours at the Teatro de San Bartolomé. This musical show is under the musical direction of César Belda, and written and directed by Zenon Recalde, actors Natalia Millán, Marta Valverde and Alberto Vazquez. Full of humor and emotion, "Do we make a threesome?” is a journey in time through songs and stories where the protagonists have firsthand the intricacies of their lives inside offstage. 6. XIV RALLY MTB XC LOS DOLORES 2015

Mancha Blanca (Tinajo) will receive this Sunday, September 6, the XIV Mtb-Xc Los Dolores-2015, last scoring round of inter-Fuerteventura and Lanzarote Championship and Lanzarote Cup. This test has become a reference at regional level and by competing bikers can enjoy the unique and spectacular volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote. This is the same circuit 10 kilometers so beloved participants from past seasons starting and finishing in the parking of the Plaza de Los Dolores in Mancha Blanca. The Rally tests competitors who have to pass through the land of Lanzarote, pedaling against the wind and enduring the heat in the area. No doubt that Lanzarote is an ideal setting for athletes. Pianista Jay Gottlieb concert at Jameos del Agua The New York pianist Jay Gottlieb will perform at the iconic space of Jameos del Agua next Saturday, September 5, at 21.00. Born in New York, Jay Gottlieb studied at the prestigious Juilliard School and earned a Master of Arts from Harvard University, where he performed and organized concerts and taught piano, composition and harmony. Pianista Jay Gottlieb   They have written works specifically for him; He has composed the soundtrack of the films "discreet" Christian Vincent, and "Sonate" by George Allez, and is co-author of Ten Years with piano twentieth century, published in Paris by the Cité de la Musique. Auditorio Jameos del agua He has recorded for Philips, RCA, Harmonia Mundi, Erato and Aeon, and has won awards including the Grand Prix du Disque of the French Academy of recording, the Diapason d'Or, or the "Choc" of the "Monde de la Musique winning", among others. It is clearly a unique opportunity to enjoy the music from a pianist as Gottlieb. The talented musician will present a varied program full of classics.
