6. Fiestas de San Marcial 2018

Femés celebrates this week the San Marcial festivities with a great program:

On Friday, July 6th, the Storytelling by Antonio Orellana will take place at 4: 00 pm. In the evening, the San Marcial Soloists' Meeting is scheduled, with Parranda Janubio and soloists Iván Quintana and Tania Gil, from Gran Canaria, and Israel López and Alejandro and Elieser Betancort, father and son, from Lanzarote, as guests.

On Saturday, at 10:00 am, there will be a Children's Party with inflatable mats in the square, followed by a "piñata". While at 9:00 pm you can enjoy the performance of singer Alexia, semifinalist of "La Voz Kids" and concert of international singer José Vélez in the square. Afterwards, fireworks and prolonged "Asalto" (local party) by the orchestra Los Conejeros.

On Sunday at noon, the groups "Si es tarde nos vamos" from Fuerteventura and "Inerxia" from Lanzarote will perform. San Marcial closes its festivities with a "tenderete" on Sunday afternoon, entertained by the parrandas Salineros de La Hoya and El Golpito.

7. Transajaches X–Race 2018

This Sunday, July 8th, Yaiza will host the 25, 14 and 5 kilometre "Transajaches X-Race", as well as Hiking and a race for children. This is the third event of the "Lanzarote Mountain Race Cup 2018".

8. Concert "Opera Salon Fantasy" 

The "Opera Salon Fantasy" concert will be held this Saturday, July 7th, at 8:30 pm, at the Agustín de la Hoz Cultural Centre, with Charina Quintana (flute), Giovanni Mugnuolo (flute) and Sandra González (piano). Admission is free.

9. Music: Ángaro "New season"

Ángaro returns to the Jameos del Agua auditorium this Sunday, July 8th, after the success of the first season. With a music show that brings " Living Traditions of the Canary Islands. Music and dance as a link between peoples".

10. Festival del Mar Chinijo 2018

The "Chinijo" Sea Festival will be held on the eighth island: La Graciosa, offering multiple morning and afternoon activities until July 8th. Aimed at children from 8 to 17 years old.
