For this weekend, the main event is the Pilgrimage of Dolores (Romería de los Dolores), a grand procession is done in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows (Nuestra Señora de los Dolores), reaching Mancha Blanca in Tinajo. Additionally, the Craft Fair (Fería de la Artesanía) is also part of the celebration of the Virgin of the Volcanoes. This weekend the dinosaurs attack in Arrecife, with “Expo Jurásico” which begins Saturday and will attract kids and probably those who aren’t so young too.
The party continues with music for a special Sunday with Tempo Lanzarote in Jameos Lanzarote.

1. Fiestas de los Dolores 2015
Every September 15 is celebrated the feast of "Our Lady of Sorrows" with great devotion and joy in Lanzarote . The people pays tribute to the also known as the Virgin Of The Volcanoes. The festival takes place in the municipality of Tinajo and people from all walks island of Lanzarote dressed in traditional costumes. 
This Saturday September 12 is celebrated the traditional pilgrimage of Sorrows, in the village of Mancha Blanca, where the shrine is located. Mancha Blanca becomes the center of pilgrims arriving from other islands of the Canaries to pay tribute to the Virgin in a procession that is departing from various corners of Lanzarote up to Tinajo and Mancha Blanca then procession of the Virgin. There will be departures from Tias and San Bartolomé, there are also tours for seniors would do. The complete program includes many activities until Tuesday, which is the day of the Virgin. 
2. Feria de Artesanía
This year marks the twenty-seventh edition of the Craft Fair in Mancha Blanca, making it the oldest event on Lanzarote and important craft and one of the most important in the Canary Islands. 3. Fiestas Cristo de las Agua

Sunday there will be the Romería and Offer to Christ, and at 10pm “La Pichona” will lead the fun in the Canarian Party.
4. ExpoJurásico en Arrecife
Expo Jurassic first visit Lanzarote from Saturday 12 September until the 27th of this month. And expose Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Protoceratops, Parasaurolofus, Stegosaurus, Spinosaurus, Diplodocus and the famous life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex, among others. 5. Tempo Lanzarote
Tempo Lanzarote has several successful presentations at the auditorium Jameos, with an amazing music and lights show. This visual, musical and scenic show is presented at 12:30 offering a trip back in time through music and images, in which the viewer can learn chapters of the history of the island. They are 9 musicians, 17 actors and many surprises that begins at the time of the attacks of pirates who punished the inhabitants of the island. You don’t want to miss it. 
6. Ultravesía Oasis Gran Casino Puerto del Carmen
Lanzare recibe este sábado 12 de septiembre una nueva prueba deportiva, con la que se pretende satisfacer la demanda de travesías a nado de larga distancia. La I Ultravesía Oasis Gran Casino Puerto del Carmen se convierte en la travesía a nado más larga de Canarias y ya cuenta con más de 40 participantes. La travesía tendrá dos distancias, siendo la prueba reina la travesía de 20 kilómetros que tendrá salida y meta en la playa que se encuentra situada bajó el Oasis Gran Casino en Puerto del Carmen. Existirá una prueba con una distancia de 10 kilómetros, destinada a los nadadores que se están iniciando en este tipo de travesías a nado.
